  • Had an amazing experience at Tulasi Indian Restaurant and honestly… my stomach is still thanking me First of all, big shout-out to Mr. RK (Ramakrishna) – what a gentleman! Service was warm, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs without any drama. If hospitality had a face, it would be his. Now let’s talk food • Perfect balance of oil and spices – not swimming in oil, not attacking your tongue either • Healthy and comforting (yes, Indian food can be both!) • Chapatis were soft and fresh • Curries were rich, flavourful, and beautifully cooked And then came the Rasmalai… WOW. Hands down the best rasmalai I’ve ever had – soft, fresh, and so good that it deserves its own standing ovation Truly a best example of how dessert should be done! If you’re looking for great food, great service, and zero regret later, Tulasi is the place. Will definitely be back — mostly for the rasmalai, but don’t tell the curries that

  • When I post delivery reviews, I usually try the place more than once to be sure and Tulasi is hands down one of the best Indian I've had in the UK and the best in Oxford. I'm vegetarian and the selection they have is great, the portions are big and packaging is premium. Even though it is far from my location, food arrives properly hot and without any leaks or mess which I've seen with other places. My only regret is it took me two years of being here before finding out about this place. My favourite has to be their chilli paneer, garlic naan and butter paneer. The baingan bharta was a big surprise too as it tasted just like at home. Fresh, affordable, flavourful Indian. 10/10 from me.

  • Found this diamond of a restaurant on a trip to Oxford. We were warmly welcomed and then exposed to probably the best curry experience I've had in a long time. There is a slimmed down menu which ensures what you get is a uniquely made dish. The service was fantastic and the food exquisite The onion bhajis presented in such a beautiful way and tasted delicious The sea bass curry was excellent. Please go and visit. It's wonderful and not expensive.

  • We had a great experience at Tulasi! The service was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The Paneer Kadhai and Garlic Naan were the highlights—absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian and Chilli Paneer. Finished off with some Gulab Jamun for dessert. Definitely a solid spot for a meal!

  • Could not have hoped for better en route home from Sunday night cinema. Authentic South Indian spices and flavours, a more genuine menu than the 100s of choices often offered. Delicious food, a warm and good humoured welcome and some interesting chat. Unique after dinner mints (a mint leaf encased in white chocolate!) .... definitely coming back.

  • The menu is relatively small, but that means each dish is carefully chosen and not just the standard curry house list. Very interesting and tasty, will definitely go again. Our online order didn't get through so I'll be ordering by phone next time.

  • I recently visited Tulasi in Kidlington, and it was absolutely amazing! The food was bursting with authentic Indian flavours, every dish was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and full of rich spices. The service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. You can really tell they put care into everything they do. If you love Indian food (or even if you’re new to it), I highly recommend Tulasi — it’s easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the area!

  • A very pleasant evening was had for our party of 7. The food was delicious. With so much variety it was difficult to choose, so I will have to go back. They cater well for all dining requirements. Our vegetarian guest were impressed. The spice combinations seem to be more aligned with true Indian cuisine without leaning towards the British palette too much. The staff were considerate during a busy evening.
